Research focus: The aim of the project is to create a module for hydrological and hydrotechnical design of conservation measures in landscape engineering within the Atlas environment. The tool will be usable in the design of drainage, retention and environmental elements in the landscape. The computational module will use two basic principles - the empirical method SCS-CN and the physically based SMODERP model. These methods will be integrated into the Atlas environment. In conjunction with the existing Atlas EROZE module, a tool for effective land-use planning, soil protection and landscape development is created. The goal of the project is also to create tools as a web-based geoprocessing services, which will be linked to Atlas, but can also be provided to the public separately.
