We are pleased to invite you to the seventh annual Workshop on Soil Physics and Landscape Hydrology, organized by the Department of Landscape Water Conservation.
The workshop will primarily focus on current scientific outcomes, with presentations mainly by PhD students working on research projects related to soil physics and hydrology. Topics covered will include the transport of water and solutes through soils, catchment hydrology, rainfall–runoff processes, soil degradation, erosion processes, remote sensing in landscape hydrology, geographic information systems, and numerical modeling.
The workshop is intended for students in the doctoral study program in Civil Engineering, particularly in the Water Engineering and Water Management, and Environmental Engineering branches. A limited number of master’s students involved in relevant research projects may also attend. The workshop will be held in English to accommodate international PhD students.
Participants are expected to prepare a 10- to 15-minute presentation of their current scientific work. Presentations of unfinished or ongoing research are welcome. Each presentation will be followed by a short discussion.
