| Research focus: | The research goals are: To optimize methods for reverse identification of convective rain episodes from adjusted radar reflections. Test the availability of satellite data to identify on-site and off-site impacts of rainstorms. Use satellite and UAV data to assess the initial state of the basin. Improve the possibilities of prediction of the impact of rainstorms in monitored localities thanks to the knowledge of the initial state. The applied objectives are: To evaluate the impacts of erosion runoff episodes and the risks associated with their repetition for the application guarantors' interest sites. Creating a map and database of risk localities and threats to their ecosystem functions. Evaluation of the benefit of remote sensing for the quality of the risk assessment. |
